Addons for World of Warcraft

This is just a list of addons that I have found valuable. With this list I am providing a link to where I download the addon from, and second link to download from darkoblivion.org. There's been a lot of issues with hacked addons and possibly addon sites. I worked for 5 years in a development position at an anti-virus / security software company, so basically I'm hoping that my experience adds a little extra safety.

The downloads provided here will be:

• unaltered from the site I downloaded from.
• checked for unusual content.
• not contain any machine executable code. (only text files, graphics, etc.)
• installed on my system (because I actually use them).

Addons that contribute to the guild

GroupCalendar -- DO Download
Find out what's going on and when! A must have addon for Dark Oblivion.

CharacterProfiler -- DO Download
Capture your character's info for posting to the roster.

Gatherer -- DO Download
This is a really neat herb, mineral and treasure tracking addon. As you gather, the items are noted on your mini-map so you can easily locate them again. The other neat thing is that when you gather an item, the coords are sent to others in the guild and party that also have this addon installed.

ThreatMeter -- DO Download
KLH / KTM ThreatMeter -- It apparently has two names but is the same thing. This tool will track your threat relative to other players also using this (so everyone in the party needs it to be useful, especially the tank). Really useful during boss fights when there's a single target to focus on.

Addons that I have found very useful

Atlas Loot -- DO Download
Lets you see the possible drops for a boss.

Auctioneer -- DO Download
Tries to help you not get ripped off at the AH by keeping track of prices.

CT_Mod -- DO Download
This is a set of addons that help with mundane funtions and raiding. From this pack, I only use (the rest I delete after extracting):
CT_BarMod - Intuitive yet powerful action bar addon.
CT_Core - Core functions used by other CT mods.
CT_ExpenseHistory - Detailed log of character expenses.
CT_MailMod - Allows you to easily send multiple items to the same person.
CT_RABossMod - An extension to CT_RaidAssist that adds small mods that help you with various raid encounters.
CT_RaidAssist - Allows you to monitor Raid HP.
CT_Timer - Shows a timer that counts both up and down.

MapNotes -- DO Download
Want to remember where something was? This will place icons on your large map. Can work in conjunction with NotesUNeed and Gatherer.

MobInfo-2 -- DO Download
This is a great little addon for tracking what good items a mob drops and how much health it generally has.

NotesUNeed -- DO Download
This is a great tool for making notes about anything. You can note players, NPCs and items.

Recap -- DO Download
This addon keeps track of your incoming and outgoing damage. It is slightly out of date and you will need to check the addon box that says "Load out of date addons" for this to work.

TitanPanel -- DO Download
Adds a bar to bottom and/or top of the screen that keeps useful information at your fingertips. There's also tons of addons that plug-into TitanPanel.

X-Perl -- DO Download
A nifty replacement for Blizzard's default unit frames, including raid frames and raid tools.
